Instead of defaulting to Amazon, consider supporting Black-owned bookstores that have been cultural anchors and community leaders for decades. These stores ship nationwide and carry cornerstone works like The Warmth of Other Suns, Stamped from the Beginning, and other must-read titles.

Marcus Books (Oakland & San Francisco)
